I used to sell a lot on eBay a few years ago. Neopets plushies, jewelry, and a couple things around the house that I wanted to just sell off for some cash.
I got out of it because it was more of a hassle handling and shipping everything. I had a perfect feedback score (100% positive) on sales, and only recently did a rogue seller give me a negative tick after I bid on some Yankees seats and he wanted me to pay him outside of eBay, and I refused.
Recently, I found a site that is simply amazing. You can actually join for free, and get access to hundreds of eBooks, software, and videos to sell on eBay or on your own personal website. I joined up for free, but quickly got drawn in to the idea of having MORE options by upgrading my membership, and I’m SO GLAD I did!
I’m still working out some of the kinks of course, but all in all I’ve spent $25 for the upgraded membership (gold package, billed monthly - SO worth it - you get bundled products that are hosted elsewhere, so you don’t have to manage the downloads yourself), and $16 (billed monthly) on the eBay store option. The reason I did that is because it’s actually cheaper to list items in the store only, than it is in the auctions, and since I list everything at a fixed price, it just works out better.
My listing fees are up around $43 right now. So all in all, the total I’ve spent is $84. Remember, you don’t HAVE to buy the gold package (there’s a silver package for much less if you want, or you can stay in the free section) and you don’t HAVE to buy the eBay store option up front either.
Now, I’ve already sold items at a total of $31, but it’s only been two weeks. I’m hoping that by the end of the month, I’ve made back the money (and then some), and when I actually take the time to create some more bundles and such, I’m sure that will happen.
Normally, I sell the link to the membership site on eBay for $1.97 but I believe in this system so much that I’m willing to give it to you for free! If you’re interested in any of the programs, free, silver, or gold, click here to start making some serious cash on eBay!
